So who are we?

We’re not a business group. We’re not a curated team of experts. We’re just people. Simple people who grew up knowing the feel of Pondy’s sea breeze. People who’ve known each other since scraped knees, stolen mangoes, tuition classes and bicycle trips with days that that smelled of sea and stories.

There’s me—Thabitha a Pondy girl —holding the mic but really just the voice of many.
There’s Parvatha, who teaches French but really teaches grace—always steady, always kind.
There’s Kenny, who lives with music in his veins and silence in his soul.
There’s Priyan, a farmer’s soul whose hands know soil better than most of us know screens.
There’s Tasneem, a brilliant scientist—ranked among the top 2% in the world—but to us, she’s still the fiercely loyal classmate with the sharp mind and softer heart.
And of course, there’s Shadrach—still finding his way, but always ours.

We were five. Or eight years old. Or somewhere in between when we found each other. Pondicherry raised us—its small streets, its big skies, its gentle sea. And somehow, across decades and detours, we never really lost the thread.

That thread—that love—is what binds Yellow Sunshine.

We didn’t build this because we had a market gap or a business plan. We built this because we wanted to make something of our own. Something true. Something we could be proud of without pretending.

We’re not here to impress. We’re here to express.
We’re not perfect—but we are real.
We believe in simple joys, slow living, honest work, and spaces that feel like a hug.
